FLOS “String Lights” Debut May 19, 2014 6-8pm
Join contemporary lighting company FLOS on Monday, May 19th from 6-8pm at their store at 152 Greene Street to celebrate the debut of the String & IC light collections. Michael Anastassiades is the renowed London designer of both the String Lights and IC Light collections.
FLOS will also be celebrating Interni Magazine’s 60th anniversary and will be displaying local artist Shantell Martin’s drawings which will be auctioned off online to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF).
Refreshments such as Italian wine from Guido Berlucci, beer from Asahi and water from San Pelligrino/Panna will be served.

FLOS was founded in 1971 when it opened its first subsidiary in Germany. Since 1971, it began scouting for emerging contemporary designers and made its first purchase of Arteluce in 1974. FLOS continues to collaborate with designers such as Achille Castiglioni and Philippe Starck on a contract-basis.
