New To SoHo Just In Time For The Holidays!

After landing at La Guardia earlier this afternoon, and taking a cab back to SoHo, I passed several new storefronts!

1.  Velcro launched a “Holiday HackShop” at 199 Lafayette on December 1st (through the 19th), open 8am-8pm 7 days-a-week.  This is the perpetual pop-up location which most recently housed the Friends’ Central Perk in honor of their 10-year anniversary two months ago:

Velcro will provide a holiday-themed destination for shoppers, DIY and home-improvement fans, families and anyone interested in everyday “hacks” that make their lives easier.

2.  Walking into the Corcoran office, I stopped past Kipling on Spring Street, which opened two weeks ago (hard to believe I didn’t see this sooner!)

The bright and colorful bag company was launched in 1987 in Antwerp, Belgium and recently landed at 155 Spring.  For those of you who are curious, this location used to be Swiss hosiery/legware company Fogal.

I met the Kipling team, who were very excited to be part of the SoHo neighborhood!

3.  Finally, David Yurman, at 116 Prince Street opened!  We got a sneak peak of the remodel a few weeks ago:

Hard to believe it all came together in just a few short weeks!
