Passover 2014 In Soho!

Passover was my favorite holiday when I was little because I loved the quirky food: charoset (apples, nuts and cinnamon), horseradish, and smoked fish.  While you can go to Morton Williams on Bleecker Street or overpay at Gourmet Garage and buy Passover staples to cook in your apartment, I put together a list of places of Passover goodies for Passover 2014 In Soho! Passover Goodies:

Russ and Daughters:  I love Russ and Daughters on the weekends for bagels, lox, and their egg creams.  They are accepting pre-orders for Passover including Flourless Chocolate Cake ($14), Charoset ($8 a pint / $15 a quart), Chopped Liver ($12 a pound) and Gefilte Fish ($3 for whitefish/pike/carp and $4 for salmon/whitefish).   To place a holiday order, please call 212.475.4880 or 800.787.7229.

And what better way to enjoy a Passover seder than one cooked by the Princess of Persian cuisine?
