Rapha Cycle Club Is Open at 159 Prince (The Old Cafe Borgia)
After unsuccessfully finding seats at Once Upon A Tart (packed!) and Olives (closed!) this morning, I walked to Chobani, but halfway there, saw the retail space that used to be Cafe Borgia was now a cycle club called Rapha.
Rapha sells all types of gear for outdoor cyclists. There is a coffee station that also sells sandwiches. They don’t have decaf on their menu.
From the website:
The Rapha Cycle Club New York City has left Gansevoort Street and its cobbles for a beautiful new location at the bustling intersection of Prince and West Broadway.
The all-new CCNYC is located at 159 Prince Street and holds the entire range of Rapha products, alongside serving the finest food and coffee from the Club Cafe. Big screens show live and recorded racing, and regular events and rides make Rapha’s latest home in New York City the perfect place for the sport and culture of road riding.
The new store has opened and will be followed by a Grand Opening Party on Thursday, March 10th. Simon Mottram, Rapha Founder, will be in attendance, there will be food, drink and music. RSVP on the events page.
