Soho’s Retail Vacancies Leave Way For Pop-Ups, Clean Up Soho Update, & New/News In Soho
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! As Soho’s neighborhood expert, we receive emails every day with questions such as where to take a client for lunch, best happy hour spots, new stores, and buying, selling, and renting in the area.

We’ve been receiving several requests to help find short-term “pop-up” space for retailers, marketing brands, and e-tailers for events and activations. With fashion week and the holiday season approaching, it makes sense! The New York Times also wrote about Soho’s retail scene in an August 23rd articleabout vacancies. We are here to help if you are a brand looking for presence in the area or if you are a landlord looking to offer your space short-term reach out to us with availabilities and rates!
@CLEANUPSOHO: We made significant progress in August! Margaret Chin’s office has dedicated $60,000 for supplemental cleaning services through our groups vendor of choice WildCat. This will fund around 6 months of cleaning in the area! Also, 18 new, larger baskets have been claimed! We thank 60 Guilders, Premier Equities, CBRE, and Bloomingdale’s for stepping up!
If you’d like more information about committing to a garbage can (it is tax deductible) please reach out to us at Danielle@sohostrut.com.

SOHO RETAIL NETWORK: September 7th is our next breakfast at Ted Baker featuring a presentation from Jeff Gibbard, a social media strategist! A delicious parfait station with fresh Udi’s Granola and Califia Cold Brew Coffee will be provided by Noosa Yoghurt! Tickets are $15 and available at Soho.Splashthat.com. The October 12th breakfast will be hosted by Monica Vinader featuring Emily Merrill from Six Degrees Society!
RESTAURANT REVIEWS: Read about Root & Bone! We are actively looking for restaurants to review in Soho (& the surrounding area!) Please reach out to us at Danielle@sohostrut.com if you’d like your restaurant reviewed as well!
See you around Soho!
