SoHo Luxury Rental Open House Tour!

I went to three luxury apartments for rent in SoHo:

55 Greene Street, #2
This unit is in the famed “Gunther” building and was on the market for $17,000.
The listing was virtually staged and the living and dining space was impressive with high ceilings, natural light and large windows.  However, it was listed at 2,900 square feet and 3 bedrooms / 2 baths.  It turns out, it was only one real bedroom and the other two were interior.
The kitchen was nice…
But the shared rooftop was the best part of this unit:
55 Greene {I learned} is a co-op that benefits from owning its retail space (currently Isabel Marant) and each of the owners earns $100,000 a year in rental income from the retail space (impressive!)
No wonder why I have never seen any listings for sale!  For more information, click here:
112 Greene Street, #4
This unit was listed at 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for $18,500.
The unit was listed at 2,700 square feet and you would live with famed neighbor Adam Levine below you.  The three bedrooms are decently sized and the kitchen was just “ok”.

The best part of this apartment was the fact that all three bedrooms were full sized and the living and dining space is huge and there is an interior bedroom as well for guests.  For more information, click here.
50 Wooster Street, 3NF
This unit is listed as a 4 bedroom, 3 bath for $16,500.
This unit was very unique because it is almost like two apartments in one.  There is a separate 400 square foot studio with a small kitchenette for a full-time nanny or staff.  Two of the three main bedrooms are very large and both share a bathroom.

The only “Negative” is that there wasn’t an en-suite master bath.  For more information, click here.
