Hope you are all having a great holiday weekend! Did you know we are on Instagram? Follow us @SohoStrut for the most current retail openings/closings, events, and things to do!
Last month, we wrote about retail vacancies leaving way for more pop-ups in Soho. This month, we want to emphasize the need for pop-up stores to be mindful of the additional foot traffic & trash they are causing to our neighborhood! This week, Google brought thousands of people to West Broadway, overflowing our garbage cans with large cardboard containers and no accountability.

@CLEANUPSOHO: This week we secured a storage site for the supplemental cleaning services! You can read more here. Varon Barrio-Carrillo is opening Anyway Cafe on Thompson & Broome and he is generously letting us use his space outside of the back of the restaurant! Dianne Mendez, Local Resident, Activist and @CleanUpSoho Founding Member discovered the site.

We are still looking for more sponsors for new, larger garbage cans. If you’d like more information about sponsoring a can (it is tax deductible) please reach out to us at Danielle@sohostrut.com!
SOHO RETAIL NETWORK: October 12th is our next breakfast at Monica Vinader from 8:30-10:30am. Cracking The Code: Develop meaningful conversations and authentic, long-term relationships with your customers. Featuring Six Degrees Society Founder Emily Merrell! Breakfast will be provided and all attendees will receive a gift bag from Malin & Goetz! Tickets are $15 and available at Soho.Splashthat.com. {For Retail Managers Only}
See you around Soho!
